REALsite

DDF®, in plain language

Why aren’t my listings showing?

Five reasons, in the order they actually happen. Most take a minute to fix and none of them are your fault.

  1. The feed is not approved yet.Your board approves a new Member Website Feed by hand, usually within a business day. Until then the credentials work but the feed is empty. The DDF® Dashboard shows the status.
  2. The feed is for a different agent ID.Boards sometimes issue the feed against a team or office ID. If the feed’s listings are not yours, ask your board to reissue it for your own membership ID.
  3. The scope is wrong.A feed set to “My listings” shows only what you list. If you expected the office’s listings, change the scope on your Listings page; nothing else needs to change.
  4. The listing is no longer active.Conditional, expired, withdrawn: the feed drops it, and your site drops it within the half hour, because the rules say so. Sold ones you can keep as a sold.
  5. The credentials changed.CREA rotates or resets credentials now and then. The feed’s status turns red on your Listings page; paste the new ones in and the next sync picks everything up.

Questions agents ask

Three more.

The feed connected, but my site shows nothing.
Your board may not have approved the feed yet, or the feed carries listings for a different agent ID than the one on your licence. Check the DDF® Dashboard first, then the feed’s status on your Listings page.
One listing is missing.
A listing left the feed when it was conditionally sold, expired or withdrawn. REALsite removes it within the half hour, as the rules require. If it sold, keep it on your site as a sold from the Listings page.
The photos are stale.
Photos refresh on the next sync after your board updates them, usually within the hour. Watermarks are CREA’s and stay on.

Still nothing?
