Website → Bring my site gives your move a single place to return to. Enter your current website address and choose Bring my site over. Your old website stays in place. Importing does not send emails, publish drafts or change your domain.

Before you plan the move

Check these requirements while your current service is still available:
  • Listing data and search. REALsite connects your authorized DDF® feed. Compare its actual coverage and available details with what you use today. If your current site relies on VOW (Virtual Office Website) access, sold-price search or other restricted-data features, confirm those needs with REALsite before committing to a move. A working DDF® connection alone does not establish that every feature of your current site is available.
  • Contacts and newsletters. Website import does not move your mailing list. CSV contact import brings basic contact details into CRM; it does not transfer prior newsletter consent. Imported contacts must opt in on your REALsite before receiving marketing emails. Review this limitation against your existing newsletter workflow.
  • Domain and email. Identify where your domain, DNS and mailbox are managed. Keep mail records and existing service available while you test the new website, old links, email and enquiry notifications.
If an essential requirement is unclear, use Help before changing DNS or cancelling your current service. Then use the switching walkthrough to work through the move.

Review what came over

While the import runs, the page updates automatically with the current step, the address being read, and how many items remain in that step. You can leave and return without interrupting the import. Pages and articles arrive as drafts. Each item shows its original address, current publication status and a link to its editor. Choose View original to compare the copy and photos with your old site. On a site that has not launched, imported content replaces untouched starter pages at their existing addresses, such as /buying and /selling. Edited pages, saved design drafts and pages on a live site are preserved; a conflicting import gets a separate draft instead.
  • Review page opens the page in Design. Review its sections, then choose Publish page to publish the draft. Publish in Pages is another route to the publication controls. A published page stays Saved for launch while your website is coming soon; review site visibility before sharing. After publishing, choose Add to website menu if visitors should find the page in your navigation.
  • Review article opens that article’s editor in Blog.
  • Reviewed saves your acknowledgement. It does not publish the item. If the page, its sections or the article changes later, it needs review again.
Use Refresh status after editing or publishing. Your review is saved to your account, so you can leave and return on another device. Expand Old links to see the addresses saved in this import and their current destinations. A redirect to an unpublished draft still needs attention. Missing redirects, changed destinations, loops and existing pages that take priority are called out separately. If a forward reaches an existing page instead of your imported draft, compare them and choose the right destination. These checks inspect the saved site records. They do not test public DNS or guarantee search rankings. After your domain moves, open important old URLs in a browser and confirm they reach the right published pages. Manage forwards under Pages → Redirects.

Check photos and anything left behind

The import notes list skipped pages, unreadable content, existing redirect conflicts and limits reached on large sites. Compare these with important pages on the old site before deciding what to add manually. Recognized myRealPage mortgage calculators become REALsite calculator sections. Original forms and other embedded tools are flagged for review and rebuilding; their scripts and submission destinations are not copied. Your logo and page photos can be added to Media. An imported portrait fills Settings only if there is no existing headshot; otherwise it goes into Media. The notes tell you where it was placed. Review the image selection before publishing, including any photos excluded or beyond the import limits. MLS® listings and listing photos are not copied from the old website. Connect your own DDF® feed in REALsite. Automated listing-event blog posts are left behind; review any historical material you want to preserve, since a feed does not necessarily restore it. Possible exclusive listings are linked for review and manual recreation under Listings.

Finish the launch checklist

Before you share your new site combines saved setup status with checks you complete yourself:
  • Contact details, a connected and synced DDF® feed, saved certificate status and site visibility are detected from REALsite.
  • Photos, listing accuracy, the domain/email plan and a real visitor inquiry are marked Checked by you only when you tick them.
Changing the public address or lead recipients reopens the domain/email and inquiry checks. Opening a tool or ticking a box does not send any email. Before changing DNS, identify the provider that hosts your email and preserve its mail records. Keep the old service until the new site, important old links, sending and receiving email, and inquiry delivery all work after the move.

If an import stops

Completed drafts remain available. The report explains which items need attention. Retry the same website address to reuse the imported records and check missing content again; your edits are preserved. Each new import has a new review checklist. If a source cannot be read, check the address or contact support. A large website may need some content added manually.
