When someone fills in a form on your site, they get a reply right away, in your name, from your site. Settings → Reply emails is where those replies live. Each one starts with plain, sensible wording; change any of them to sound like you.

The replies

Changing the wording

Pick a reply, edit the subject and the body, and press Save. A few placeholders fill themselves in when the email goes out; the page lists the ones each reply can use:
  • {{ first_name }}: the person’s first name, when they gave one.
  • {{ listing_address }} and {{ address }}: the home the message was about.
  • {{ agent_name }} and {{ site_name }}: you, and your site.
  • {{ listing_url }} and {{ weekday }}: the open-house thank-you only.
Preview shows the reply with real-looking values before you save. If a placeholder is misspelled, the preview says so and the saved wording is not used until it is fixed, so a broken reply never reaches a client. Reset to the default brings the original wording back. You can keep writing while a save finishes. Those newer edits remain marked as unsaved; save again when you are finished. If a save fails, your wording stays in the editor so you can retry.

What stays the same

Every reply carries your name and contact details as the sender, your office address in the footer (Canadian anti-spam law asks for it), and an unsubscribe link where one is required. Those are added for you and are not part of the wording you edit.
